    Hello,

I have a huge problem I'm faced with. We recently had to leave our home due to antisocial behaviour and my car being set on flames and we didn't feel safe being in there anymore.

We have found a small rental place to keep us going but they will not allow pets at all. We are also mortgage approved but eith the currency climate no one does any viewings.

So I am forced to look at alternatives to house my pet for up to 4 6 months which absolutely breaks my heart.

I cannot afford a kennel for this time period due to all other bills.
Is there anyone that can have a bit of a suggestion on what to do in this situation?

He is a golden retriever 5 years old.

    Thank you
    Rob

That's **** mate. Sorry to hear that. You've obviously exhausted relatives and friends. You could try a shelter or similar and ask if they know of someone who might foster. Obviously pay for food and keep etc. Maybe offer a few hours volunteering in return?

After that I don't know, but hope you get sorted out.

Have you tried offering extra on the deposit as a pet deposit?
Some landlords like the idea of more money upfront, so if you offer extra and promise to cover any damages, they might come round to the idea.

Dont do that to your dog, if you're already mortgage approved you're not going to be there forever anyway, just sneak it in.

    We are based in Dublin.

It's not actually the landlord that won't allow dogs, it's the apartment complex administrators. Breaks my heart to do this to him.
