Hidden lodger in your Holiday Home?

Not exactly "your" holiday home but have you ever rented a house for a week or a few days and discovered there was an extra person living in it? Perhaps a converted attic that was inaccessible from the ground floor, with its resident coming and going through the skylight? Or perhaps a basement with a separate exit?

Never happened to me but I used to work in this place in Dublin that was a Georgian building 3 or 4 companies had offices in there and I used to go to the jax downstairs, never really knew where the official downstairs jax was but I did find one that was way downstairs. I went in there a couple of times when I was out in Dublin on the lash to relieve myself on the way home. Turned out it had a basement dweller with a tidy little basement apartment and I had been using his jax all along. Must have scared the sh1t out of the poor craythur because one of those nights I was on the lash I bumped in to him and had to explain myself
