Deeply saddened to hear of the death of John Prine last night. Hugely entertaining and warm performer who'll be sorely missed. He penned so many great songs.

I been thinking lately about the people I meet
The carwash on the corner and the hole in the street
The way my ankles hurt with shoes on my feet
I'm wondering if I'm gonna see tomorrow...

Love that song, as well as classics like Hello In There. Very relevant now. Old trees just grow stronger, old rivers get wider every day, old people just grow lonesome... Say hello in there.

Lot of lonely old people in these covid19 times of isolation.
