    Hi hope someone can help.
My van tax and test were up end of March. A few weeks ago I declared it off the road as it had a few issues. A mechanic was very busy at the time and didn't think it'd be fixed for a month or two.
That has since changed and he has fixed the issues and it's ready for test, but since i can't test or tax it - can i drive it? Insured till august

You are not legally entitled to drive it until you can get a test done.
Any test extension only applies to those that had a valid test that now expires during the lockdown.

But if you do drive, you take your chances with the Guard that stops you.

See this thread for plenty of examples where people are still driving without all valid requirements.
