    Hi everyone,

Quick question I changed my JSA payment from my post office to AIB bank on the 30th of March. I can see my first double payment in my account on Mygov.ie, but nothing has been transferred yet. I cant get to my post office as im now stranded in Dublin and i normally pick up in Tralee. I'm just wondering if anyone else has done this and if so how long does it take?

Your payment you were due to collect before you changed over will be in the post office for you. It's the next payments after that that will be put into your bank account every two weeks. I had to do the same thing two weeks ago. The post office can keep it for you for 90 days. I collected it and then was told by the DSP my two weeks from 8/4/20 - 21/4/20 will be in my bank account on the middle week, 14/4/20. Hope you get sorted.

Thanks for your reply, I actually got an email this morning from the deciding officer saying it will be paid next Thursday. Thank god!

Is there a duration on how long this method is in place for? I imagine when crisis is over they might revert back to P.O. signing?

They will revert at the earliest possible opportunity to collection in the PO
