I got one of those polyfilla cartridges where when you push the end of the cartridge, the polyfilla is supposed to come out of the nozzle. Problem is it is IMPOSSIBLE to push the cartridge up - am I doing something wrong?

Do you have something like one of these too?

If not, forget it, you won't be able to push it out by hand.

Also, maybe stating the obvious, but you also have to cut the end off the tube to allow the contents to come out (remove the "spout" first).

    I don’t have that no :(

Yes I cut off the top and it is coming out but only if I press it down on my kitchen roll holder!

    Thanks

There you go then, you'll need one of those gizmos then. They can be used for all kinds of stuff that comes in those cartridges ... caulk, silicone, tec7, adhesives etc. so worth getting and they're dirt cheap. You can even get rechargeable battery powered ones!
