    Hi,

Firstly, apologies if this is the wrong section to post this in, wasn't too sure.

I'm trying to apply for Jobseekers online and it is requesting a copy of my P45, which I don't have. I have tried browsing MyAccount and ROS but can't find any way of accessing it. Can anyone please advise how I can get a copy of my P45? It seems I can't proceed with the application without it.

    Thanks.

You don't need the P45 anymore. They done away with that last year.

Your boss will give it to you.send them an email from a personal account and ask for it or whenrjey will have it for you and how you can get/recieve it ( drop by & pick it up/ posted out etc). If they don’t reply at least you’ll have something to show the SW office.

I'm applying online and can't get past this page without submitting a P45, it seems it's mandatory.

I haven't been employed since 2019 so I'm not sure if they can still provide a copy?

Well that's crazy. I applied a couple of months ago, it was a paper application and they never asked me for a P45. I'm 100% positive that they done away with the P45 last year. So I don't know how you can get past that online.

Your p45 is in MyAccount on Revenue but it doesn’t refer to it as P45. If you don’t know how to find it then just attach a note saying that you don’t know how to find it on MyAccount.
SW now have access to your whole Revenue account and they can look at it themselves.

OK thanks. It's an online application and I have to submit a PDF to proceed so I'll try find the P45 in MyAccount. Do you have any idea what they refer to it as instead?

    Cheere for the help everyone

doesn't jobseekers only apply to the first 9 months after finishing employment?

Jobseekers Benefit only applies to first 9 months (maybe even less now) then you can apply for Jobseekers Allowance which is means tested. OP didn't specify so its more than likely JSA.

You dont need a p45 anymore OP and

It's under your 'Manage your tax 2016-2019' when you log into revenue online.

There, you'll see the name of your employment, click on print in the top right corner blue button, it'll show a statement type of document with the cessation date of employment showing.

Take a screenshot of that and upload it to your jobseekers application.
