Hi..I have got a tiviar alpha plus box..It has fortis image on it.I have been reading through posts on here about different images..I see a couple of posters give details on how to install on the box...Is there any best/easy to load image..Would the older ones be more stable than latest updates, that some times can have problems..I have it working away fine..its just that I now have more time on my hands,l watch a bit more, record a bit more, and the freesat has only a now and next epg,so series recording cant be done....Thanks for any info....Stay safe everyone!

This site explains how to change from the factory Fortis image. My personal preference is the openATV image. If you want to start from a raw image, a wizard "talks" you through the initial setup to get you up and running. Don't be put off by the lingo. If you are anyway PC literate you'll manage. Alternatively, NewClareMan kindly uploaded a copy of his build which you may want to try. Once you get comfortable with it, adding your own tweaks is easy enough. The great thing with enigma is it is infinitely configurable to your own taste and needs. You can easily make backups of your personal settings and the complete image so you can quickly recover if/when you mess it up. Be warned enigma boxes are highly addictive to play with :)
