I was wondering what percentage of weight lost is water when a person starts at a significant overweight level and loses a good chuck of it. Im 6ft 0 tall . A few years ago I went from 300 to 230lbs which is basically 5 stone . Im wondering what was the % ratio between fat to water of that weight i lost

Water weight refers to short term fluctuations in weight due to hydration. If you actually lost 70lbs, then none of that is water weight. It’s all either fat or lean mass.
