In a new house and looking to get the back garden done.

It's okay at the moment but like to get done up for the summer, if we get one.

I'm no gardener and don't have time other than to cut the grass.

What is the best way of approaching this. Don't want to spend millions just get it decent enough so kids can run around it.. As not getting out much now

    Cheers

Might be a good idea to post a few photos of the area if you would like people in this forum to see what you are talking about. You mention cutting your grass and wanting kids to be able to run around so why can't they run around on the grass the way it is once it has dried out a bit? Is there something else you want from your garden other than grass? If you are looking for people to recommend a landscaper it might be a good idea to say where in the country you are based as some will not want to travel too far.
