Some people who are carrying a few pounds should lose a bit of weight

Could it be it affects a certain genetic type more then another. No underlying condition could also be something undiagnosed.

I was thinking same but two of the children are dead and three are in critical condition. They can’t all be unhealthy surely.

The speed it happened at too is scary.

We are at the start of times that will be taught to kids in History class 100 years from now. Every day feels more and more surreal.

The Fusco name is Italian and northern Italian at that. Maybe there is a genetic component to it? Some blood groups seem more susceptible to it(A/B IIRC) and more men. Judging by the photo of that poor family, they're also pretty big boned. Being obese is going to put a lot of strain on your system and you're more likely to be type 2 diabetic with cardiovascular issues. A double whammy.

We really cannot have threads started about various individual cases or as in this situation a group of people. There are numerous threads being started that pretty much go no-where because posters are starting threads about any bit of "news" they see

I appreciate this is a tragic situation for the people involved, but we have thousands of similar tragic incidents happening during this crisis. Mention in the main thread is fine, but new a new thread for such incidents is not appropriate
