If your employer closes temporarily because of the Covid 19 effect i understand you can claim €203 per week ,but will you still get WFP ?

Yes you will. You’ll get the emergency payment for 6 weeks with your WFP. But whatever you do don’t apply for Jobseekers proper because your WFP claim will be closed .

I filled out both forms. I got jsa form on Fri, lady in there told me they’d suspend WFP. Went in on Monday and they gave us the other emergency payment form. Filled it out and gave up both forms, as was told to, Got email to say I’d been approved for jsa. Does that mean I won’t get WFP? The jsa is for 1 adult and 1 child dependent. I know the emergency payment is new, and if WFP is not paid this week, do you think I can ask them to cancel jsa claim and get the emergency payment instead.

Hi. So I rang this morning to check this as WFP wasn’t in bank and they said it was paid, has anyone else not received theirs? Ptsb, had issues with Ulster Bank and late payments but not with Ptsb. Rent went out this morning so transactions going out.

That’ll be the the banks problem. Ring the bank.
