    Adele Mcdonald was her maiden name. She was the producer on the Ray foley show at lunchtimes

    Dave Kelly was involved with FM104 from the start when it used to be called Capital Radio (and then Rock104). It launched in July 1989, so that's nearly 31 years ago. In the original schedule, he was one of the presenters, but pretty soon after that he went behind the scenes to concentrate on management. Eventually, he became Group Controller when FM104 and Q102 came under the same ownership. I think Dave Kelly must have been the only member of staff left from the start of Capital Radio - certainly on the broadcasting side of the house.

    Oh, didnt see anything about Adele, was it reported in the media? Was she just in management or was she working behind the scenes on a show, I do remember her being involved with Ray Foley's show before.

    I noticed Spin South West and Tipp FM are advertising for Content Directors, which essentially seem to be Programme Directors too. Both roles seem to include on air shifts as well. I know Eoin Fitz used to do Drivetime on Spin South West but he left a few years ago, not sure who's doing it now, but they are gone or leaving.

    Lots of management changes it seems, stations are probably looking for a more business focused person to lead now.

    Spin South west have let most of their on air staff go, and their CEO. I hear 8 in total got the chop.

    Word is that only breakfast and drive will be live from Limerick.
