    Hi, I've a 2010 C4 Grand Picasso 1.6 hdi Diesel,
The battery light is staying on.
    Alternator is good.
    Battery is almost new.
Has driven to Dublin and back without any issues.
    An ideas?

my van alternator failed two years ago and immediately the battery light came on, I sorted it by fitting a new set of brushes, if you have room to give the alternator a light whack it could dislodge a sticking brush and you would know straight away if the light goes out, also check the associated wiring

alternator is running perfect, full output. Checked wiring, there doesnt seem to be a reason why its staying on, charging perfectly, in daily use with no problems .

Could be a problem with the wire that provides feedback to engine management ECU from alternator, the GENCOM wire in Ford/Citroen parlance. Did you get it sorted?
