Wanted: 700c 10 speed road wheelset

    I'm looking for a decent, relatively cheap secondhand wheelset for commuting. I'm in the market for something robust as opposed to either light or aero. My current wheels are sized 622 X 15 with 28mm Gators, so I'd need a set with equivalent sizing and compatible with 10 speed tiagra groupset. Something with 36h spokes would be ideal!


    I live in Dublin 8, can meet up or collect.

    I have nice set of Mavic Askiums. Old but in very good condition.
    These are bombproof wheels and not too heavy either.
    10 speed shimano compatible and will include block.
    €75 with tyres or 65 without

    Nice, that sounds like exactly what I'm looking for.

    How are the bearings and is there much life left in the braking rim?

    Lots of life in rims and bears smooth. Spare set I have, just too many wheels !
    In North county Dublin, work in Swords if that helps

    That sounds good to me, I'll take them (without tires if that's alright).

    I work in Mulhuddart and live in D8 so Swords is a bit out of reach. Let me reach out to a mate of mine in Swords to see if he can meet up to collect and I'll get back to you.
