Cash American Express Travellers Cheques in 2020?

Would anyone know where you can still cash these and where would be the best place?

Someone owed me some money and I agreed to take payment in some sterling travelers cheques.

The banks don't want to know about them. An Post either.

Read in an old thread that someone got them cashed at the airport bureau de change but don't want the hassle of going there just for that purpose.

    any ideas?

did ring them up to ask for their current sterling rate and when I calculated against the spot rate they are taking a filthy 6.5% cut.

anyone know of a better option?
