Redundancy Notional Termination Date

    I was made redundant on Friday and told I would get 2 weeks pay in lieu of notice in the pay run this week. I received my redundancy payment and left on Friday.

    I have 2 questions please, if anyone could help me.

    1) what should my termination date be for the purpose of my redundancy calculation. My actual leave date (Fri 28th Feb) or the date including my 2 weeks notice (Fri 13th Mar)

    2) is my 2 weeks notice money taxable ?
