Odd Planning FIR

We have a planning application in at present that has come back with a Further Information Request that has a couple of small items on it, but the one that sticks out to me is the below:

“Please identify all homes, and evidence of same that you have occupied (including mapped locations as necessary) together with dates and ages of occupation”

Seems like a bit of stretch of authority to request a full list of addresses, maps and proof of where you’ve lived since the day you were born? Is this common? We have lived on the plot since 2001 so surely a copy of the folio and current proof of address should suffice?

Are you looking to build a house in a restricted areas based on a local housing needs? If so, there should be a defined minimum period where you may have to show that you lived in a locality, usually about 7 years. Look up the policy on the county development plan. If the policy only requires you living in the immediate area for 7 years, I would be slow to show them more.

When you say you have lived on the plot what do you mean?
    Is there an existing house?

They don’t really define. Just says family ties to the area or integral to the community. No real time limit set.

Current plot with parents house is being split in two with a portion being given to myself as a gift to build a house on. Have lived in the family home on the original plot since 2001.
