Nothing official yet but reports floating around that sky will be ready to go very soon / probably from launch.

At the moment there is only rumour and press reports regarding a Disney+ - Sky tie up. Nothing announced by either party.

Meanwhile, what has been announced is a €59.99 (£49.99 STG) pre-sale price for a year’s subscription before March 23rd. That’s €5 pm, so see if Sky can beat that with any wholesale deal.

I can't see Sky offering a yearly sub myself but monthly is the way they like to roll and 5.99 for some serious content will be very appealing for Sky's current customers.

Deal done this morning. Sky retain first run access to 20th Century films and do a wholesale deal for Disney+

    Disney+ get the Simpsons.

Ah sorry missed that bit. So still need a subscription like Netflix.

Now if Sky could just partner with Piratebay.......

Well, you would think that Sky will be able to offer Disney+ on a single bill with Sky TV, like they do with Netflix on their Ultimate on Demand pack (which can save you a bit of cash if you take both, depending on what Netflix plan you have). I’m not sure they will be able to beat the €60 (for the first year, which is €5 pm) price being offered in the presale and potential customers will want to make a call on that before launch (though Sky have a habit of not revealing price details until the day of launch, so we’ll see what happens there).

There’s a Disney+ press launch on Thursday at which more may be revealed. Possibly.

The press launch has been cancelled, apparently (Covid-19 related).

Meanwhile this page seems to indicate that there’ll be no discount for signing up to Disney+ through Sky.

Great news, Having Netflix & Disney + integrated to Q is exactly what I've wanted.

    Superb

It would be superb if Sky Q supported HDR. It doesn’t which just makes this bundling a bit of a joke.

Not quite sure it's as bad as a joke but isn't Sky due a HDR update of Q this year some time?

Well given the prices they charge I’d say its a joke that they’ve let this happen. They haven’t even committed to a HDR upgrade.

You can use your Disney + login details on other devices not just the Disney + Sky Q app

It's the same with Netflix if you have a device that's supports HDR and has the App login in using that device

Netflix UHD plan you can stream same time on 4 Devices
Disney + you can stream same time on 4 Devices

I have Netflix on Sky Q and use it also on other devices

And Sky Cinema losing all the Disney content too?

Has gone the way of sport ... Content spread over too many subscription services ... will push people back to piracy

They are keeping the 20th Century stuff at any rate, not sure about the Walt Disney Pictures, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm etc brands.

Will Disney+ replace Disney Life ? When I check the apps on my Samsung tv the only Disney app is Disney life but I believe that is because the new app is due to become available on March 24th.

Yes, DisneyLife (the proto-Disney+ which was only available in some countries including Ireland) closes on March 24th when Disney+ launches.

Anyone got a direct link to add this via Sky?

I can't find it online nor will Q let me do it in house.

If you've got Sky Q just scroll down to Apps and it's located there beside Netflix and Spotify etc.

Seen that, thanks - apparently Sky can sell it direct so that it works better on Q like Netflix does.

You can also sign up directly yourself with Disney. Pay the annual or monthly, and then just go back to the app on Sky and log into same with your Disney plus name and password.

    Piggybacking on the Sky q.
