Going for the scrum. Hope it doesn't bite us in the arse.

    Hopefully that’s that now.

So simple. Don't often see those set 8, 9, blindside winger moves much anymore and hardly ever see them result in a score.

    Fantastic conversion by Byrne!

Good defence by Leinster when it mattered there.

Was he? I'd go with Dooley probably. Molony was very good too.

    Peter Dooley official motm

    Dooley MOTM - well deserved.

Haven't been so glad to hear the final whistle in quite some time.

Some good mixed with some bad, I'm sure there'll be a lot of stuff for Lancaster and Leo to bring up in video reviews, just silly little mistakes.

Poor enough game for Frawley, probably should've brought Byrne on a bit earlier but hopefully he'll learn from it.

God bless anyone of you who watched all of this over the u20s game! Is that the record wins now?

    Good defense won that

Young lads would have learned a lot from that game

Result was pretty much what I expected. What I didn't think was that it was our bench that would win the game. Baird, Osborne and Byrne came on and all made telling impacts. The steal and carry from Baird was the undoubted stand out passage of the game. Not hard to see why he's involved with the Irish squad despite minimal involvement.

Byrne made a very tidy impact after his arrival. He looked much more assured than Frawley who actually got the full 80. Byrne came on for TOB and Frawley shifted out.

There's only one more Pro14 game during the 6N so people need to make the most of their opportunities. I wouldn't expect Ross Byrne to go to South Africa though so that's 3 more games for Frawley and HB to share.

i think if we beat Glasgow next week the league is done.

we have four more handy games: kings away,. dragons away, zebra home and cardiff at home.

that puts us around 80 points which Ulster would do very well to match.

Subs were very good and made a great impact. We don't produce locks with the dynamism of Baird very often. Great spring to steak that lineout and incredible pace and power to run 50 metres bouncing off tacklers. I know he was the back row replacement today but his future is in the second row.

Disappointed for Frawley that he had a poor game. Passing was.very poor. Some of that was down to receivers over running their line, but there were enough passes that went to ground for you to say that he just played poorly. Still a very skilled footballer who might make a better 12. Harry Byrne showed some lovely touches when he came on.

Thought Cronin was poor when he came on. Doesn't seem to be 100% at the minute. Not his dynamic self by any means and his throwing has regressed.

Cronins regressing unsurprisingly given his age.

How was Cronin poor when he came on bar one throw that looked like it was either caught by the wind or hit with a hand
Made his tackles, was on the end of Lowes half break early on, should have scored a try if Baird hadn’t been so greedy as he was directly inside him and kept the scrum piling on the pressure with 2 kids next to him
    Bit of perspective please

Cheers for your excellent research, plenty of time obviously
Just stating facts, bit of a negative narrative on here about him which needs fact checking sometimes
Stats from the game back it up too, although they don’t tell everything
