Envelope containing cannabis oil with thc seized by customs

Hi all,

Ive been ordering some cannabis oil for my mum who has terminal cancer and is something that she has to be on to control the seizures, everytime we run out we end up in the hostpital.

Im not sure how much thc it has but i know it does,

So i went to the collection place today as its said it was delivered and when i asked where it is he said it was seized by customs and they will be in touch with me.

So what is going to happen? M i getting locked up? Fine?

What the hell is going to happen now?

Can i get away with saying i ordered cbd oil and wasnt aware of the thc in it?

Any advise would be appreciated.

Revenue love taking what they can’t tax. They can’t prove you even sought it. Nothing will happen, except you won’t get your product. Perhaps file a complaint with Revenue if there is a pathway to do so. They are completely and utter clowns when it comes to seizing cannabis. Anything that is CBD or below 5g of THC shouldn’t result in seizure.

You won't be in any trouble, you'll just a get a letter to say its been confiscated under whatever act applies.
