Ce scheme payment

    Just curious if this is actually legal. I'm on a ce scheme and payment used to be Monday. A few months ago a text went out on a Saturday to say payment is now changed to Wednesday. My car insurance was due to come out on that Monday and was returned. 😡 I had my say and got on with the Wednesday payment.
    Last month or so the payment MIGHT go in on the Wednesday or might not go in until Thursday.
    I'd be budgeting my money to last the week like I can only assume most on a scheme do.
    That unexpected extra day is torture.
    Sorry for the long winded message but I'm fuming.

    It's likely to do with your bank. They make the payment Wednesday but it takes time to process.

    I was told it depends what time it leaves their Bank.. So wouldn't that mean they are putting in the wages too late?

    i am trying to find out what rate of prsi is paid on a ce scheme. tried all the websites but its not clear at all
