Anybody know what or could be the problem here? 1.9 diesel partner hadn't been started in a good year or 2. Jump started it and everything worked as it should, needed an alternator so I replaced that the following day. 3 days later the dash lights, displays, radio, central locking button etc on the dash stopped working. The following morning everything worked fine again but only for a half an hour of driving it and all stopped working again which was roughly a week ago

    How old is battery?
Try swapping for a fresh one.

If it was parked up the electical contacts in fuse boxes could have corroded. Have these all checked.

Also possible that vermin have eaten through the wiring in the engine bay. I have seen this to happen before. Check the harness throughout.
