Hi all, The AutoSave Draft feature is now disabled across the site. The decision to disable the feature was made via a poll last year. The delay in putting it in place was due to a bug/update issue. This should serve as a reminder to manually save your drafts if you wish to keep them. Thanks, The Boards Team.

    Never heard of them!

Warning signs are there though. No premises visible in photos, no landline, TRADE SALE!

Judging by the location of his photos and the type of cars he’s selling it looks like he’s taking the trade ins off Capital Motors, Karl Goodwin Motors or Belgard Motors and selling them on. (His photos are taken beside those garages)

Don't let her buy anything flagged as a "Trade Sale" or from a company focusing on that POV. They are only going to mislead you into thinking you are getting a deal and will be pushing you to accept no warranties on the sale, while they can't actually do that.

It'll be too much hassle and all their listed ads on DoneDeal are rather old.

thanks so much we just went up there he has no landline and only texted her, when we were nearly there he said he would meet us at Capital Motors, however when we arrived he said he just this minute took a deposit, very dodgy

I was probably right then about taking the trade ins from those garages if he asked you to meet him at one of them

    Only go with well-known dealers.
It may cost a bit more but you will have more peace of mind.

Feel free to ask for recommendations.

And don't buy 3rd rank cars like Chev aka Daewoo.

Hey, Im looking for a car as my own failed NCT and needs other work.

I spotted one (around 10 years old) from ace auto in jfk industrial park. Its the same mobile number as the company mentioned here, but diffetent location. No land line but the salesman who works there part time phoned me about the car.

If cartell checks out and car is NCTd is there any cause for concern? Ive spotted one car, cartell looks good, only thing is that it went into the "trade" a good few months back. Im hoping to see it in person tomorrow - anything i should ask?

If anyone has first hand experience with this garage id appreciate further feedback.

I have just bought a new car from the guys in Ace Autos in JFK Industrial estate. I dealt with Nathan ( the owner) personally. He's an absolute gentleman. any questions were answered and he provided all I paperwork needed including Japanese auction history sheet verifying mileage, history, etc. Absolutely 10/10 service. I also got a 2 year warranty with the car and was instructed by Nathan that if I have any problems just to give him a call anytime. very trustworthy and couldn't say a bad thing about the garage or himself.
