i have a sony amp yes it is old [str-bd830]and a fault has developed when i turn it on the read out shows the station then protected and it shuts down i have to switch it on a few times then it works perfect any ideas could it be repaired ? is it worth repairing any suggestions as to where i could get it repaired it is…

Depending on where you are based there are a few places would certainly look at it for you. Lawless Brothers are out near the airport on the northside or in the city you drop it into Micro Electronics on Herbert Place. This is not the best forum for your query but the mod of this forum should have moved it for you
