Ford brakes - need help please

    looked at a 1989 ford 7810, brake pedal needs to be pushed down near floor to stop her.


    i heard about filings getting into the pump system and other stories about these so how can you tell or what do you look out for

    Brake discs are probably worn. Not that expensive for new parts, but it is a fairly big job to replace them.

    If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

    ok but you hear stories of filings getting into the oil when brakes get down on these so is that true
