    anyone much experience of Aubrac x friesian bullocks or heifers?..what are they like to finish?

    I'm of limited use to you as I've not brought one to finish yet I have 2 roughly 18 month old holstein x aubrac bullocks (nearly all red but with black bits around nose etc

    I found their early growth (first 6 - 9 months) rate very good compared to Sim x FR, BB X FR, and BWH on exact same feeding regime...it didn't sustain however they are both similar to all the other lads now I don't see any major difference.

    Ill see if they put it on quick at grass next spring and will know more when I see grade etc

    Not the fleshiest, should be R grade confirmation and they kill out heavy for their size.
