    Hi
Brought this into a garage as it failed NCT on headlamp alignment - they cant seem to find an adjusting screw as it seems to be self-levelling ....

do I need to go to Main Dealer for this ?

You just use a Philips screwdriver. It’s fairly far down.

Are there markings on the plastic trim panel (near the bonnet rubber bung) that have LR on them on your car?

yes there's little green tubes with lR on them that have white caps that take a Philips - but the headlamp angle doesnt seem to change. ( on both sides ).

Is there LR written in small writing on the plastic trim over the lights

Sorry - yes. There's a hole marked LR with a circle on the plastic trim covers. I can put up a photo if you like.

That’s for the left right adjustment, look down from the hole (about 6 inches) and you’ll see a cogged wheel, you stick a screwdriver onto it and it turns, there’s another for up/down. Your mechanic will be able to take it from there once you show him that the adjusters are actually down there.

Feedback - this was indeed the case. The L/R adjuster screw and the Up/Down adjuster are a long way apart from each other, the Up/Down is almost impossible to spot and needs a very long phillips.

    Thanks for this, appreciated.
