    Hello All.
    Hoping someone can advise.
What I currently have - broadband and TV in thru Virgin.
What I want - to keep the above however get Racing TV thru Sky to my office in the house.

    Other info
I have an unconnected satelite dish mounted in the house.
I have an unused sky box
I believe if I have a disconnected sky card I can ring racing TV with the NR, subscribe to their service and they will switch same on.
The reason I need the above thru sky is that it is a couple of seconds faster than any other method (including on line streaming) and I earn some secondary income via sports trading and a couple of second delay with what I do is impossible.

Would any installer be able to point satellite towards the sky service, install a cable to the room in question and the box would then be able to pick up the (disconnected) sky service through which I could connect to the Racing TV chanel?

    Thanks all.

Save yourself the hassle, get a laptop and trade off SIS/TURFTV in your local bookmakers, you might even get a free coffee and biscuit out of it. The reduced overheads will help your bottom line as well.

Would rather the comfort of my own place.
Can't see a bookies allowing someone in day after day without placing a bet!, cheers for the reply nonetheless.

Any half decent satellite installer should be able to do this, all it is is a standard Sky setup. As you rightly say you don't have to subscribe to Sky as RTV have their own customer management department. It's much better value on Satellite because as well as the main channel you get the RTV extra feeds online, access to the race library online and free tickets to some meetings.
