    I've seen these hooked up to electric showers lots of times and they are a disaster because they are designed for high pressure.

    Hooking it up to your mira event power shower should give you good performance.

    I had read also that the valve/filter in a rain shower to decrease water outlet for saving might affect the pump. Any ideas about that?

    Your mira event is 15 to 25 years old. It's coming to the end of its life anyway. I wouldn't worry about the pump. When it's time to replace it your new model will have the option for 10 or 14 litres per minute. You can use the 10 litre option. If there is a restrictors in the shower head it might be possible to remove it.

    Yeah, I’ll have to have a look at the restriction valve. I don’t think they’re easily removed but I’ll soon find out. I’ve ordered one and see how it goes. Thanks for the input
