What canvassers called to you?

FG called into my work place.
FF called into my work place and to my home but I was out.
Labour looked in the door and even took pictures outside where I worked but they didn't call in and they called other places.
SF never really bothers with my town.
No sign of independents or greens either apart from leaflets.

I don't want to turn this thread into a debate.

Tons of leaflets in the door and saw 2 candidates around the road but that's it. We are home just after 5 every evening but no callers!

None thank God. Got a few free pens. Josepha said it was lovely to meet me as I walked passed her.

    Anyone have her number?

    None, thankfully.

    Nobody.
Granted I am not here all day every day, but still.

    Broken hearted I am.
Not to mention all of the buns and sweet tea I made that I've had to throw away.

Soc dems - I laughed, they cried. The others only mysteriously leave “sorry we missed you” cards, even though the doorbell and knocker work perfectly fine....

Green candidate one evening.....FG and FF must have been round during day as had fliers in letterbox with "sorry I missed you"....no venturing out in evenings for them methinks....silly really doing it when most are at work.

I was dearly hoping to encounter a SF candidate in the flesh, but no such luck. Brief conversations with a FG candidate and a couple of independents.

Social Democrats and Labour at the door. Missed the Greens, even answered the door to Ben Gilroys headcases even though he's not running here.

I live in the back of beyond and the only TD or candidate that has ever stood on my doorstep is Rose Conway Walsh SF That was last time out. I'm here for the last 4 elections. Had canvassers for her this time. Also for Ring FG and Chambers FF

Like ninjas they were with us. Not even knocking just quietly slipping leaflets in.

1 canvasser for Richard Burton and one for SF. Neither will get the steam off my pish.

PBP, Independents, and mainly SF on my road. Thats all

    SF
    FF
    FG
    1 Independent

All seemed more interested in getting away from me than talking about their candidate.

Can think of nothing more futile and depressing then arguing with canvassers on the doorstep.

Three people canvassing for Willie O'Dea. One of them introduced herself as his secretary. Which was kinda funny because she is also a councilor. Knows what side her bread is buttered on I guess. (Actually probably just indicating that she could answer questions I had, but still funny.)

Got a leaflet for Kieran O'Donnell (FG sitting TD) specifically for the local area (took credit for funding work nearby).

    Think that was it.

Canvassers are fed up dealing with " Joe Duffy whingers" so they just stuff the ****e into the letterbox and go

None , and not one leaflet either .
Met one today at a funeral , he chatted for a minute about tomorrow , so I asked why he hadn't called out ?
Apparently where I live , and I quote -" is outside the 30kmph zone and it's too dark out there "

    Wtaf ? !

Labour, PBP, Sinn Fein, Green, Workers Party, and 2 Independents. So, everyone except FF and FG - it was just leaflet drops from them.
