Was in north London a few weeks back and visited the RAF museum. Well worth a look if you're over, its free in and has six hangars full of fighter planes.

Its possible to get inside the helicopters and seaplanes there and as well as sit in a Spitfire. Highly recommended.

A few pics, name those planes if you can

Excellent. If any of you are ever in Brussels the military museum near the European parliament building is amazing. A huge hangar full of planes along with every other type of military history you can think of.

Was there a few years ago. It just happened to be the same day that the Queen unveiled a memorial to Bomber Command in Green Park. The ceremony was shown live on a large TV in the RAF Museum with a seated audience of vetrans and their families watching. A Lancaster bomber flew over Green Park in tribute to the airmen and on the way back to it's base, it flew over the RAF Museum so we all went out to watch it pass. It was a great experience to see this mighty bird fly over us, having just stood beside one in the exhibits hall.

Nearest tube station is Colindale, on the Northern Line. There's also an RAF museum in Cosford in Shropshire.
