Sectoral employment order

    Hello all,
Hope you can help and that this is best forum for the question....

I work in mechanical engineering & construction. In the past, on certain projects in Ireland we have awarded the mechanical installation contract to pan-European companies. Their prices are favorable most times and the quality very high.

In 2018 the Sectoral Employment Order was introduced to stipulate minimum hourly rates to be enforced in certain construction industries. This rate is more than the pan-European companies pay their employees.

Does anybody know if this Order also applies to non-Irish companies delivering projects in Ireland?

    Thanks,
    Wavey.
