    Hi
We applied for the ESTA vise travelled to New York on Sept 2018.

We are heading to Mexico next month for a family wedding and have a stop off in the US both ways and am wondering if we have to apply for another one or is the previous one still be valid.

They're valid for two years (unless you've gotten a new passport)

+1 OP, you said you travelled in Sept. 2018, note that the two years applies from the date the ESTA was approved, not the date you travelled. Just in case you applied months ahead.

Check that everyone (you said 'we') is still on the same passport. Because if you get ESTA approval on a passport with less than two years left on it, the ESTA expires with the passport.
