Bathroom extractor

    Hi looking for help, has anyone had an extractor fitted in their bathroom, someone they would recommend, I have the attic converted so the extractor needs to be drilled to the outside wall. I've had an electrician up he said he doesn't have the drill to drill the hole and it would be a plumber that would have that tool, so I'm looking maybe for an electrician who may also be a plumber, it's my main bathroom and en suite. I'm living close to cork city centre.kind regards

    You can get someone to core drill it. And have it installed by your electrician separately

    That's my problem I cant get anyone to core drill it, plumbers dont want to do the job

    Depending on the wall type you could hire the equipment needed cheap enough if your handy and do it yourself. Easy enough if you have basic D.I.Y skills.

    Don't expect anything from life, just be grateful to be alive.

    I wouldnt be able for the job unfortunately, its supp to be a powerful drill, kind regards Diane

    OK, I got quotes for doing 8 vents in my house 2 years ago when getting other work done by builders, ended up doing them myself. They quoted €80.00 each, so any builder would have it done in less than an hour or so unless there is a problem with the wall. I wouldn't pay more than a €100.00 at very most.

    There's plenty of online sites if you can't find a builder. Just make sure they are registered and insured. https://www.onlinetradesmen.ie is just one.

    Don't expect anything from life, just be grateful to be alive.

    Yeah I've done all the online thing, I can get an electrician but none of which has the drill, no plumber wants to do it as it's too small of a job. I just hoping someone out there can recommend someone who done theres.
