My friend is applying for a visit friend short stay visa to visit me in Ireland.

During the application, he must submit an online Application (AVATS) and then submit documents within one month.

He mad a mistake with my address on the online application (he got the road name wrong - number, town, county all correct). He is unable to amend it as the online application has been submitted.

He has not submitted the documents yet.

So we are unsure what to do. When he submits the documents should he tell the embassy about the mistake and they can change it? Or should he do a completely new AVATS application?

Does anyone have experience of this?
