Peugeot 508 eolys refill

I'm wondering if anyone would have an insight on this. My car a 508 year 2012 eolys needs topping up. Underneath it has green tabs on the filler pipes.

I was in with the dealer and he gave me 3l of powerflex, saying all 508's take that - though I did ask him to check my VIN to be sure.

However looking online, and at online Peugeot service box, it's saying that the cars with the blue tabs take powerflex and green tabs take Eolys 176/Infinium and that this stuff cannot be mixed. There would be a little of the original fluid still in the tank. That said, you can't get eolys 176 any more.

Anyone out there with experience of this stuff and some advice on whether it can be mixed would be appreciated!

I would top it up with what the dealer gave you. As stated they dont do eloys anymore thank god coz it's a disaster of a system.

Or if ur panicking abit I'm sure ur find some eloys online.

Just to return to this. The original fluid supplied by dealer 1 was incorrect. I had to have the tank drained and cleaned by another dealer.

Something simple that should've cost no more than €150, ended up costing close to €500 all in to put right.

For the avoidance of doubt, infinium is not compatible with powerflex. You cannot rely on the colour of the unions to determine the correct fluid but must check servicebox with your vin. What a **** system...
