Just read about the death of Nicholas Parsons.

Very sad indeed. I love Just A Minute. Such a warm and good humoured host was Parsons, always willing to take a jibe for the comedic affect.

Wonder will it go on, like ISIHAC after Humph or will it end.

96 was a good age to get to without hesitation, deviation or repetition. Rest in Peace.

I remember Nicholas Parsons as host of the long running quiz show called "Sale Of The Century" (Anglia Television) which ran on ITV and was also carried here on RTÉ tv in the 1970's and early 1980's period. It was quite a popular tv game show in it's day.

Below is some film footage of Parson's asking the questions.
