Unfortunately I've got to cancel Aer Lingus flights booked with Opodo and I can't figure out if I'll get any refund at all. Has anyone any experience canceling flights this way?

It would be the same terms as booking directly. You could probably reclaim the tax.

    Have you insurance.

Opodo's admin fees will probably cancel out any refund

Thanks all. Never had to cancel flights before and have never used a third party to book flights. Normally book direct. Looks like I'll lose the cost of the flights now anyway. Bugger.

Worth throwing an add up on donedeal/adverts/ebay looking for best offer. Name change cost a big issue.

what ive seen people do before is raffle them off on facebook for like 10 quid a number based on the lotto bonus ball,

cover the cost of the name change in it and still make yourself about 250ish quid back
