I see a position advertised I'd be interested in. It says candidates should have a relevant qualification or be willing to study for same. Is a level 8 degree in Business and Accounting a relevant qualification or do they mean QFA exams?

QFA would be one of the qualifications. However the LIA also offer dedicated credit union qualifications as well. I think the Institute if Bankers may also have some courses relevant to credit unions. Take a look at the websites.
