Booking Flights for European Holiday in April

With the spread of the Coronavirus and its effect on Aviation and Travel would I be better to hold off on booking flights to European destinations in April lest they be subsequently cancelled or at least significantly cheaper if less people are traveling as a result?

Easter Sunday is April 12th which means that all UK and Irish schools will be off for the first two full weeks of the month. Good luck finding cheap flights - with or without a coronavirus pandemic.

    Thanks.
What about the last two weeks, book now or hold off?
I assume there's no entitlement refund for fights canceled to prevent spread of infection?

Your guess is as good as mine.

When was the last time an airline in Europe cancelled flights to inhibit the spread of infection? People pick up TB and flu every day on flights, they continue regardless.

Might be worth taking note of the fact that there have been 22 deaths in France since November due directly to the bog-standard flu virus, i.e. 22 more than total number of deaths from coronavirus in the whole world outside of China ... and no-one has put France on a no-fly list.

That's what appropriate travel insurance is for
