It's normally tagged in with farm insurance, isn't it?

Saying that, mine is with FBD for another year as I couldn't move it with the farm insurance after making a claim.

I am interested in the same subject.
The renewal premium for TPF&T from FBD is €197.65.
Most, if not all, of the other Insurance companies will only provide tractor insurance cover if it is tied in with full farm cover.

I checked with a Broker that specialises in Farm Insurance and was told that Tractor Insurance cover with other Insurance companies will be at least €200.

If you happen to find a better deal, I would appreciate you letting me know.

I tried in other years and when the Insurance Brokers found out that they would be competing with FBD, I wasn't even given a quote.

There are at least three other companies offering Farm Insurance but they will only provide tractor insurance as part of a complete package.

That’s a good saving. Did you call them directly or through a broker?

I cannot understand how you managed to get Tractor Insurance from AXA unless you have your farm also insured with them.

I have just telephoned my nearest AXA Insurance office enquiring about Tractor Insurance.
I was informed that they do not provide Tractor only insurance.
As I posted earlier, they will only provide Tractor Insurance as part of entire Farm Insurance package.

Years ago before I bought the land , dad insured a tractor with AXA. it was only for drawing turf but it was no problem. Probably 12/13 years ago but as he said he had the cars with them from when PMPA were good boys
