Lap details for Psyclefest thing up the north

    Looking at doing this but the red trail center route is 400+ meters of climbing a lap from what I have seen.

    I know the Mournes are sharp pointy gits (thanks Cooley thriller) so nearly twice what I'm used to on endurance events.

    Anyone got a Strava or the like detailing last year's event or the red route so I can have a ponder (the elevation map on the website is pants).

    Here's a strava of a spin I did up there last September. We repeated the blue loop a second time, so the distance is longer than a single lap. I didn't find the climbing too tough at all there - for my spin there was only 360m for over 20km which is very gentle. That being said, I wouldn't fancy doing it for 24hrs straight! But that's only for savages like yourself
