Patio too high against wall

We have a patio/play area that is too high against our wall.
The play area has concrete about 40mm below dpc. There are permeable rubber tiles that are 40mm thick on top of it.
The patio side has concrete up to about 20mm below the dpc. There are granite slabs on top of that making it about flush with the dpc. There are some gaps in the grout where they meet the wall.
The wall has external wall insulation.
There is a very slight slope sideways (each side slopes sideways towards the edge of the area, and an aco drain at the sides. In the case of the play area the drain is beneath it.
I can put up pics tomorrow to illustrate.

How big a problem is this?
What are options to improve it?
How urgently does it need to be addressed?

Installing an aco drain along the wall of the house strikes me as the obvious thought. This is something I asked to be done when it was being built but agreed to the sides solution upon being assured there was little benefit to the one along the house.

Ok so I’ve discovered this breaks building regs. I wish I had insisted on the drain against the wall now.

My understanding is that if an aco drain is against the wall to a depth of 150mm then it is ok.
There is a gate post in the wall now though. My wife thinks we could ge5 the drain in front of the post - about 50mm out from the wall. Would that be acceptable? It doesn’t sound right to me.
Can we have the permeable rubber tiles on top of the drain and against the wall?

What is the correct professional to talk to about this? Don’t want to just get it done wrong again. Civil/architectural engineer? architect? Surveyor?
