How to make exteplayer 3 default player for recording playback Openatv

As title, i have it set in servicesapp but it doesnt seem to be the default player for recorded shows, fastforwarding anything faster than x8 stutters and stalls on normal player but works fine if i select play with extplayer 3 so id like to set it as default if i can.
