Presentation at Interview -no AV

A friend has been asked to give a presentation at an interview (IT content) but were told that there will be no AV facilities. They can hand out a paper presentation to the board if they wish. I think a paper presentation is boring (unless there is data present) and very distracting from the oral presentation. I think I would just be brave and go with the most slimmed down slides possible eg. Why? How? Measure Results etc. It's been a while since I've had to present though so would welcome thoughts here.

I would do it very similar to you, with a small twist:

Very simple presentation they can follow.

"And I've included all the data at the back of the slides I've given you, so if you need the details you'll find them there".

    Something like that.

That's how I give reports to CEOs - simple 1 page summary, then a few pages with a very easy to follow explanation, then a bunch of pages with the data and details. The CEOs generally only care about the first page or two, but they feel comforted you've done the research and included it.
