    Hi All,

Newbie starting out looking to get some proper leggings. Got some mtb pedals and shoes to start out getting used to them and need to get some leggings and overshoes. I’m about 6ft 3inch so need long ones - some I’ve tried before simply don’t fit.

    Thanks guys

    Bib tights ðŸ˜

This would be a good starting point - https://www.wiggle.co.uk/mens/bib-tights/?ea=4294789716&ris=1

    XL sounds right

As above. DHB (Wiggle in house brand) generally give good value for money. Their prices aren't great at the minute though as they frequently have sales with anything up to 50% off (e.g. I bought a pair of DHB Aeron FLT Roubaix tights back in september for around £50 - they're £73.80 at the minute)

If you already have shorts but don't want the expense of leggings, you could just get some leg warmers to go with your shorts. Loads of choice online....

Personally bib tights be down the list.

I'd get bib shorts and leg warmers.

For when too cold for that:
I'd then get lightish normal tights, karrimore or some other cheaper running stuff, and wear over the shorts.

There's also an advantage with leg warmers in that if you tear a knee in a fall, it's cheaper to replace. I bought some expensive Castelli bib tights and exactly that happened. They were too costly to replace so now I'm riding around with a hole in the knee. Still, it will be warm enough to not wear them soon..... ( slight hint of sarcasm....)
