    Hi guys,

Thinking about buying this golf - concerns are that I’ve heard mixed things about golfs and that it’s diesel which could mean high taxes in future possibly.

Would love to hear some ideas on whether it’s a good buy or not! Thank you!

105bhp in a Golf will be pedestrian speed, fine if you never in your life want to ever overtake another car.

I have to say I've never had issues, personally.

That's a crap example of a Golf though, if it wasnt for the wheels you wouldnt look twice at it and the wheels dont even come with it.

Gosh, that’s basic. The mk7 interior hasn’t aged as well as previous models either.

Thanks for the feedback guys - really appreciate it.

I guess I was attracted to the low mileage aspect of the car.

Golds in general seem to be higher priced than this for similar priced cars, I thought it might have been a good idea but no worries anyway.

If anyone has any examples of a good value golf, I would love to see it!

I would flat refuse to buy a car from a dealer who displays second hand cars with "optional extras".

OP, Golfs tend to hold their value well. You're unlikely to find one that's good value in terms of spec alone compared to the competition, but remember to take depreciation into account.
