Best brands for tall babies

    Hi there,

Our daughter is a long, lean baba - 75% for height but only 25% for weight.

She is outgrowing her 0-3 month babygros on the legs but still has lots of room on the body. Before I start taking the feet off them can anyone recommend clothing brands that tend to suit taller babies? I've found Dunnes and JoJo Maman Bebe to be quite short; M and S, Next and Tesco to be pretty on the money and Mothercare to be a little longer. Any other suggestions?

I know I could just get the footless ones but the built-in feet are handy for the winter.

    Thanks!

H&M are fantastic for tall slim kids - being a Swedish brand that's not surprising!

My sons are nearly 4 and nearly 2 and rely heavily on drawstrings to hold their bottoms up.

Tesco band are great too . We need the long leg but he has no bum and tummy to hold them up :) they have drawstrings also and are reasonably priced

There's a Canadian (I think they're Canadian) crowd called Carter's, I think they're tied into OshKosh but they're decent, especially in the foot size of things like onesies.

Their sales are very good too, you don't necessarily need to buy online from them I think there's a few UK sites that carry them like alexandalexandra.

I’ve found M&S to be a bit longer than next. They also sometimes do separate top and bottoms pyjamas, but the bottoms still have the feet closed in, if that makes sense!

H&M and Next are good for tall kids.

I don't have this problem in terms of height but right now I'm loving tights under a vest on my 3 month old. Its warm, comfy, easy to change, doesn't move about/ride up and there are no sock issues.

It should work well for a tall lean baby.

I was just going to add that tights are ideal in this weather! My daughter is 16 months and we spent last winter messing with socks falling off, took us a year to realise tights are better LOL
