    Hi there,

    I may be buying one of these. I like the GPS capability especially.

    Do you need to have the phone with you in order to track a run or a cycle or can it sync with the phone afterwards to give you location? I would just like to upload to Strava etc.

    Phone with you. It uses the GPS on your phone. There is non built in.
